Uptown Sounds NY is a wedding DJ, lighting, and photo booth company based in the Hudson Valley. Serving the New York Tri-State region, we provide a team of experienced professionals to help couples create the perfect wedding / event reception. Our team knows the importance of honoring cultural traditions and customs, and can work in a wide variety of musical genres. These include Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Dembow, Kompa, klezmer, Norteño, Reggae, Soca, and more, as well as contemporary classics from R&B, Pop, Hip Hop, and Rock ‘n’ Roll. If clients have a particular request, our DJs are happy to accommodate. We are committed to creating a setlist that reflects the unique tastes, backgrounds, and personalities of each couple / Client.

Our team will be prepared for your event in advanced, but also know how to improvise and adapt. We take pride in our technical skills and ability to stay up to date with new software and technology. The team is always ready to make adjustments, inspect equipment, and handle any unexpected occurrences. There will be always back up equipment on site to ensure that we exceed your expectations.
Our DJs are creative with their song selection and have the ability to create unique and interesting mixes. Our goal is to help you create a playlist that reflects your taste in music and entertains your family and friends. We are memorable, professional, and eager to make your event a huge success.
